On October 6, in the premises of the Croatian Chamber of Commerce in Zagreb, it was held a workshop titled “How to comply with the GDPR” organised for micro, small and medium sized enterprises.
This is the first workshop to be carried out within the framework of the ARC project. The main objective of the ARC project is to make micro, small and medium enterprises aware of their obligation arising from the GDPR and support them in fulfilling these obligations.
At the opening of the workshop, the director of the Agency, Zdravko Vukic, thanked the Croatian Chamber of Commerce for their cooperation and support,and wished all entrepreneurs successful work. “We believe that this project will make easier for SMEs to understand provisions of the GDPR and that they will have an opportunity to acquire the necessary knowledge to avoid infringements and ensure GDPR compliance.”
All interested SMEs are invited to participate in the advisory activities organised by the Agency with support of the Croatian Chamber of Economy which will be organised throughout the Republic of Croatia.

The purpose of this research is to gain insight into the challenges that medium and small entrepreneurs in their efforts to comply with the GDPR.
Based on the research results, partners from the ARC project will develop guidelines and various educational materials tailored to the specific needs of
micro, small and medium–sized entrepreneurs.
